NAMI – AEW Europe acquires two French shopping centres for €188m

NAMI – AEW Europe announces that it has acquired the Primavera portfolio of two shopping centres in France for a total of €188 million on behalf of OPCI Franceurope Immo, SCPI Fructifonds Immobilier and SCPI Laffitte Pierre.

 

The Primavera portfolio has been acquired from Grosvenor Group and comprises the Bonneveine shopping centre – 9,960 sqm – in Marseille as well as the Croix Dampierre shopping centre and three separate retail units – totaling 11,160 sqm – in Châlons-en-Champagne, 160km east of Paris.

 

 

Arsène Marques, Deputy Managing Director at NAMI – AEW Europe, commented: “In line with the investment strategy of the three funds involved in the acquisition, these two shopping centres have strong performance records and are well established in their prime, high footfall locations.”

 
NAMI – AEW Europe was advised by White & Case and Cheuvreux. The vendor, Grosvenor, was advised by King & Spadling et l’étude Allez & Associés. JLL was the agent for the transaction.
